Hard as nails

A lazy afternoon, plus some black lace scraps and a little bit of time gave me the result pictured above. I followed this tutorial and I do think they turned out pretty good! I only did one hand though, I could never do my left one without any help, but I highly recommend it.

You can never have enough cheese

I'm amidst preparations for a craft fair in two weeks, so not much time left to blog! I watched this hilarious video featuring the cheesiest movie quotes and thought I'd share it with you, I'm sure you'll find your personal favourite in them!

Thank you for all your comments on my rings post, I'll blog soon about my earrings and brooches collections, have to make time to photograph them first! Not enough time and not enough light right now I'm afraid.

My days are filled with crafting, and mentally preparing a new limited edition line of necklaces and brooches. Current obsessions include circus peanuts, yearbooks, vintage fabric, nail polish and horses.

Hope all is well with you! xoxo

'Tis the season

Sorry for the lack of posts, but I spent my time working for my first craft fair which took place yesterday! It was fun, and went better than I expected actually! The lighting was a bit dark, and unfortunately I didn't take any decent pics. I'm so, so tired today, I'm looking forward to a good night's sleep!

There will be shopping and going out and stuff the following days so there will be more posts, I feel bad for neglecting my poor blog. Until next time, look out for Santa!

Crafts and TV

Somehow I became attracted to kilt pins recently. They look great as brooches, and I'm having so much fun imagining different ways to decorate them. This is my latest creation, aptly named "More Merlot Please". There are gonna be a lot more to come!

On unrelated news, "So you think you can dance" is back! Yay! I love watching it, the sheer talent of the dancers and choreographers never ceases to amaze me.
My top-3 reality/talent shows are:
1.Project Runway
2.Top Chef
3.So you think you can dance

Are you watching?

First post

Let's start it off with a picture .

I recently started making bottlecap rings. I really enjoy the challenge of creating a mini collage in such a small space. I have tons of ideas, but not many bottlecaps! This one is called "The Princess And The Frog", inspired by the fairy tale.

I love the terrified look on the frog's face.
