Obsession
Headbands. You can see only a few of them, the one with the little doll is one of my favourites! I like how they add a little something to every outfit!
Lip balm. I have found my Holy Grail in lip balms (Carmex) but I cannot stop buying other ones as well. I'm a sucker for small and cute packaging! Above are two of my latest acquisitions from New York.

Dinosaurs. Don't ask me why, but one day I knew I had to start collecting small, plastic dinosaurs. So I did.
Project Runway. Come on, need I say more? It premieres tomorrow and I seriously can't wait!
My newest crafting project, upcycled fabric necklaces. Above is a sneak peek of the first one, made with an old t-shirt, lace and buttons. I have a million ideas for more! It's my turn to pass the award to the following bloggers. I cannot be sure who already has it, so please ignore me if you do!

Acropolis museum + giveaway!
The Acropolis Museum opened its gates a few months ago, and I finally visited it a nice sunny day. The building is sleek and modern, with lots of natural light. I couldn't take any photos of the ancient artifacts and statues, but I can honestly say that there are some pretty amazing and awe-inspiring things inside. Instead, I took photos of the view from the terrace.

I guess it's true what they say, the best things in life are free!
Gladiator heaven!

Colourful summer dresses and scarves in the shops.

Yummy ice-cream! Love the blue one!
And now, it's time for our giveaway! To enter all you have to do is leave a comment on this post until August 20. The winner will be randomly selected and will receive a pencil, a bookmark and a postcard from the Acropolis museum pictured below.

The winner will be announced here, August 21. Good luck!

London shopping

Who can resist DVD and book sales? I managed to control myself though, as I have a bunch of unread books and unwatched dvds already. I think I did quite well...
I loved this trenchcoat the minute I saw it! Sooooo cute in person and less than 10 pounds!
Lovely baroque tote from the V&A museum, purses from Primark, leather bag, slouchy beanie and scarf from Urban Outfitters.
Various bits and pieces. Sunglasses, nail polishes, lip balms... I love all the colours!
And thus concludes my London posting, stay tuned for a cool giveaway next week!

Out and about in London, pt.2
I don't know if I mentioned this before, but the main reason for this trip was the Blur reunion concert in Hyde Park. Even Frank the Rabbit made an appearance! :) There were a few other support bands, the only decent picture was of Florence and the machine though, she was amazing! Blur were great, they defined '90s for me and they played all their hit songs, the whole crowd was going wild! We missed you, guys!

While we were there, we learned about an exhibition of nude photographs of Madonna, which she posed for when she was a struggling dancer and we decided to check it out. The gallery was tiny, and the photographs were on sale for thousands of pounds, so we made do with couple of postcards. It's uncanny how much Lourdes looks like a younger version of her mother!
Michael Jackson memorial wall on Piccadilly Circus. Filled with photos, letters and flowers.

Covent Garden and Leicester Square, the area full of cinemas and theaters.

We didn't go to any musicals though, instead opted for Waiting for Godot, with Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen. Superb play and great performances, we really enjoyed it.

Walking back to our hotel, we saw a cute sex ad on the pavement. So, if you're looking for a leggy blonde, you know what to do.
